About Nurse Dotty Books
Hello, my name is Molly Watts, and I am the author/illustrator of Nurse Dotty Books and a registered children’s nurse in the UK.

Nurse Dotty Books started back in 2019 when I was working as a nurse in a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. It actually started years before this when I would write small individual stories for the children I was looking after to help them understand their journey and the scary environment of the intensive care unit; but in 2019 I created the character of Nurse Dotty.

Since then, Nurse Dotty has been the focus of a number of different books and resources aimed at helping to alleviate anxiety for children and their families and has even been lucky enough to receive a number of awards (see Nurse Dotty Highlights below).

Please take a look at the pictures of Nurse Dotty's adventures below and have a browse of the website to explore books on a number of topics that are currently available.
